Drop SS Choo or R.Martin? WHIR as always

Postby justnotcricket » Tue Jun 07, 2011 8:29 am

My team is performing well but i have three big concerns for the rest of the season which i would appreciate your thoughts on.

1) Russell Martin is only going to get worse so i should drop him now and pick up Olivo or Soto while they are still available?
2) Shin Soo Choo may not come out of this 2 month slump at all, especially after his comments in the news yesterday. So do i try and trade him at a loss or do i just drop him and pick up the likes of Corey Patterson or Allen Craig while they are still available?
3) Is it too risky to only have 1 hitter on my ench for the rest of the season?

WHIR to anyone who offers their thoughts and advice. Cheers guys, JNCMy Team - 10 Team - 6x6 - H2H - Daily changes

I would try and trade choo. See if you have any takers on him. If not, then drop him. Keep Martin.....Catcher position is so thin, even tho his numbers will decline, he is still a decent option at that position and can def go on a hot streak.....esp in that ballpark!

of the pickups........take Craig over patterson. He will continue to get more playing time, and is eligible at 2b and OF

You could try and move Choo, although you likely won't get value for him. If that's not a problem for you than by all means move him.
I think your better bet would be to move Martin or package him and pickup one of the other catchers. Soto>Olivo
