Who to drop?

Postby footballmaniac » Mon Jun 06, 2011 11:34 pm

I am in a standard head to head league with the exception that I have a limit of 10 Starting pitchers. I won the league last year by having about 10#1 starters. Hence the limit. :)

So..below is my roster. Zimmerman will be coming off soon and Pablo Sandoval is out on the waiver wire. I dont really know who to drop. I never carry offensive bench players so even though Gee could be dropped I would still be carrying an extra bat. Outside of trying to deal a player, who would you drop? If I had to do it today, It would be Morse. I wont make a move for at least 2 weeks - 1 week of rehab and 1 week of warming up then activate Zimmerman. But how about Sandoval? He stunk last year but seemed to be hitting this year.

First off, don't drop Morse right now... he's on fire and you'd regret not riding out his hot streak.

Gee for Sandoval is an easy choice here. I don't see why you don't like to carry extra bench bats, especially when the bat you can pick up is vastly superior to the extra pitcher you'd be carrying in his place.

Dropping Gee for Sandoval is awesome.

I own Gee. I like Gee. If I had room, I'd grab Panda again. He did nicely for me while Longo was hurt. Longo is off to a slow start, so I have a few weeks to decide. :-)
