Offered C Hart for Billingsley - WHIR LL

Postby irollaround » Mon Jun 06, 2011 10:09 pm

12 team CBS 5x5 currently bouncing between 2nd and 3rd.

My team
C - Lucroy
1B - Pujols
2B - Cuddyer
3B - J Turner
SS - Starlin Castro
MI - I Desmond
CI - Trumbo
OF - Rios, Span, Stubbs, Ibanez, Prado
U - J Jay
SP - Billingsley, Gallardo, King Felix, Kuroda, Lincecum, Lohse, Big Z
RP - Melancon, K-Rod
B - Britton, Sandoval, Victorino, Hafner

I'm hurting in both RBI's and HR. I think it seems pretty fair and should help me out without hurting my pitching too much.

What do you think?

Leave a link and I'll help you. :-)

Your pitching staff can take the hit but, I would try to get more than Hart. He only has 5 HRs to this point and even less impressively, only 14 RBIs. Then again, looking at your batters, can need to improve in every position except 1B and SS.

I would not do that trade. Given your lineup could use some help, I'd try to shoot higher than Hart. I actually don't believe Hart should produce for the whole season, but that's just my opinion.

Still, either way, you should shoot higher.

Cheers! :)

I'm pretty sure Hart was out for the beginning of the year. Hence his lower totals.

I think it's not worth it...You could easily drop one of your guys who are not producing that much for some of the rookies being called up and get the same production as Hart.

I'm not a Hart guy at all. Those RBI's are obviously not impressive, and I don't see him producing much this year. I traded Hart for Axford when Hart was still on the DL, and still think of that as a good move on my part. I do you think you should put some SP's out there though to try and get some OF help. Rios and Span can't be counted on. Thanks for your help on my Lester/Gallardo question.

I dropped Hart earlier in the season. he is not worth it. I think you should grab some Minor Leaguers coming up (Dee Gordon, Brett Lawrie, etc.) And drop Billingsley.
