New Commisioner Question

Postby Pacman1083 » Mon Jun 06, 2011 6:18 pm

In my 12 team head to head money league one of the managers seems to have abandoned his team. He has not made an active roster move since may 18 and has players on the DL and in the minors that are on his active roster, and therefor have several roster moves that need to be made to clean up his line up. I emailed the manager, but this is the second time and I have heard nothing. Is there any suggestions how to deal with this situation in the short term, and in the long term if he does not respond. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it is a money league, he has paid to run his team how ever he wants. If he chooses to leave it idle, he paid for that right. If it was a free league, I would say replace him, but it is hard to do that when he paid for his team

this is why we do commish leagues, so dropouts can be quickly replaced. I'd add a 2nd manager to the team so moves can be made to keep the league healthy. If he's still a no show he can be removed completely. Be sure to have some provision in the rules saying deadbeat owners will be removed after X amount of time or so many warnings
