Crawford for Teixeira

Hey peeps, currently sitting 2nd in an 8-team Yahoo. Recently acquired a couple of big bats so thought I can afford to deal Tex...this is what I'm thinking of offering...

Give: Teixeira/C. Santana/Scherzer
Get: Crawford/Sandoval/Hamels

other manager is hurting bad in all the offensive cats but especially in homers and rbi's. Although I am fairly happy with my starting staff in such a shollow league I feel I need to get 4 dependable starters. Whucha all think?

C - Santana, Arencebia (pick up either Suzuki, Iannetta or Napoli if Santana goes)
1B - Gonzalez
2B - Hill, Roberts
SS - Reyes
3B - Zimmerman, Rolen
OF - Hamilton, McCutchen, Beltran
Util - Teixeira, MCab, Vlad
Bench - Heyward, Peralta, Berkman
SP - Halladay, Sabathia, Beckett, Peavy (waste of time), Shields, Scherzer
CL - Marmol, Valverde, Paplebon, League, Lyon, Padilla

You are asking for too much IMO. Crawford has more value than Tex and Hamels is quite a bit better than Scherzer, especially after Scherzer's recent exploits. You seem to help him a bit with Santana, then you ask for his much better catcher in Sandoval in return. You can offer the deal if you think he's really power hungry, but just be ready for a counter-offer.

Sandoval is not catcher eligable anymore. He recently lost Posey and had to pick up Lucroy. Does Crawford really have that much more value than Tex? Both are capable of hitting .300, 100 runs...Tex wins in rbi's and homers and Crawford wins in steals and hits. Is it that much of a difference? I see your point with the other players involved but figured he has solid pitching with the likes of Felix, Greinke, Ubaldo and Hamels that he can part with Hamels. Should I ask for another pitcher instead?
