Easily, yes. When you can deal a guy who will almost never start for you for a guy with Heyward's upside, you have to take the deal.

I really like Walker, but Heyward is worth a gamble. Did you shop Walker at all? 2B is weak and you could probably land a guy who's NOT on the DL AND struggling for him. I would still settle for Heyward but see who else is weak and 2B and try to poach one of their OF before taking this deal.

well i just actually claimed walker a few days ago...its always hard to get good value for guys like walker in a shallow 10 teamer where guys are happy with the kelly johnsons,espinozas, and cuddyers...its actually they very same owner who dropped walker( he also has kinsler) who wants walker back for his heyward who he is tryin to get rid of but no one in the league wants heyward

All reports say Heyward out minimum another 2 weeks. Since Walker is rotting away on you bench it is not a bad thing to accept the offer.

DO IT!!! I say that with such emphasis only because you're basically trading a FA(since you just picked him up) for a guy that could win you the league in the 2nd half if everything clicks.

Heyward has looked bush league but considering the minimal risk you're required to take here, i'd take the Heyward flyer.
