Drop Dunn? WHIR

Postby medium_robin » Mon Jun 06, 2011 12:48 pm

Adam Lind comes off the DL and picks up right where he left off. He seems legit this year to be back to his old form. I need to drop somebody. To me, it comes down to Dunn or Morrison. Only other alternative would be to drop Rasmus, but I think his upside is still to high. It's probably safer to drop LoMo since there's a good chance he won't be picked up by another manager. I'm pretty sure somebody would take a flier on Dunn. What are your thoughts?

On a side note, think I should start Lewis or Scherzer today?

Although Morrison has been pretty solid I'd have to say him as well. I would never drop a power hitter like Dunn unless you have a really stacked team.

I mean Lind is an option as well, I guess. But I still lean towards dropping Morrison.

I'd drop Anderson. I know his last 2 have been against NYY and Boston, but he doesn't strike many guys out and wins will be tough with Oakland's crap offense. I think your pitching looks good enough to dump him as well. Gun to head I would drop Morrison over Dunn, but my choice would be Anderson.

I'd sit Max today.

Can't drop Dunn right now although it would feel really good to do so. He's just been to consistent over his career to ignore his power history but damn... I really want to drop him.

Take down that third outfielder if you need to get Lind.
