I would go with Arroyo. Dempster leaves something to be desired, and the Cubs lineup is just awful. Arroyo hasn't been great but he should get good support and I can see a 6-2 win for the Reds in that game.

Was great his first outing, more Zack Dukish his 2nd.

But from your list, I'd say the only one I'd really look at is Arroyo.
Though the White Sox are so bad Vargas is tempting.

A lot of people are liking Arroyo... He would be my second choice.

I like Vargas against the White Sox. Their lineup isn't overly scary. Sometimes a couple of their guys get hot, but for the most part they don't score much. Throw in that Vargas seems to be putting some good starts in this season, and I like him best.

In order
1) Bronson Arroyo at home vs. Cubs - Cubs don't have a powerful lineup and Arroyo is a scrappy good player. I would expect nothing less than a quality start. I could see him going 7 or 8 while only giving up 4 runs max.

2) Jason Vargas at White Sox - Vargas has pitched well this season and I think he'll do just fine in this start. Currently, the White Sox bats aren't that hot, so he shouldn't have much trouble.

3) Ryan Dempster at Reds - Meh.

4) Randy Wolf at home vs. NY Mets - Reyes has been too good! The Mets have been getting very good starting pitching as well.

5) Bud Norris at home vs. Cardinals - Pujols is hot, so therefore, Norris loses.

I don't really like any of the choices... Arroyo is the consensus pick, but he is so rocky it's scary taking him. I like Norris for his SO rate, but I need to keep the ERA and WHIP down since I'm tied right now...
