I'm trying to set my pitching up for a late season push. Is this the time to deal Jurrgen? Also, Beltre's low OBP is starting to wear thin on me.
Just a quick straw poll, which side wins...
Beltre/Jurrgens
Reyes/J. JOhnson
R/RBI/HR/SB/OBP
ERA/WHIP/QS/SV/K's
WHIR... THanks.

I like Beltre/Jurrgens
I guess it would depend on your teams needs. If you can spare the RBIs or you need more speed then it helps you. The way Jurrgens has been pitching lately has been nothing short of awesome. JJ is still questionable as to when he is supposed to return so I definitely like Jurrgens over JJ for now.
All in all its kind of a tough call. If your team can go without an ace for another 3-4 weeks and you need more SBs then go for it I say.

The Reyes side wins my a large margin as I see it. Jurrgens may have had a great start, but unless you find a believer, you won't get JJ back for your JJ. And, that said, Beltre can't land Reyes.
I just don't see any reason for the other team to take this trade.

Seriously? No offense to all you Beltre supporters but this is no contest. REYES AND JJ! and that's with JJ being injured
