Colon and League for Quentin, M. Adams and Crow? WHIR

I give Colon and League for those 3...is this a good trade for me? I would bench Vlad and start Quentin at UTIL, and I could use Mike Adams and Crow for ERA, WHIP and even saves (assuming Adams takes over the closing role if/when Bell is traded & Crow already being the short-term closer). I struggle in the HR, RBI, ERA and WHIP categories (and AVG, which I know Quentin hurts there a little bit so I don't know) but I am good on saves so I don't mind losing League, but could Colon potentially have 16-18 wins?? And also, could I get another better player to produce HR nd RBIs - but a player who wouldn't require muchc - EVEN just picking up WILLINGHAM who only has one less RBI nd 4 less HR?? WOW that was long, I apologize for that..just a short input on yes or no would be appreciated haha thanks guys!

You certainly have a solid pitching staff so you can afford to lose League's strikeouts, but I'm not so sure I'd accept this if I were the other team. Colon and League are two average pitchers at best. Colon won't be able to keep up his pitching all year and I'd imagine League's strikeout rate would go down at least a little.

Quentin has been solid despite batting .263.

Also, remember that Yost said Soria may only be a couple days away from taking back the closer position and Crow doesn't have a save in his place yet so you might not be getting any saves from this trade.

I like the deal for you. I was skeptical but Quentin's been awesome, and if you can afford to lose the saves its definitely good for you

Thnx for the help one mine. I hope I'm not too late, to help you. This seems like a fair deal, but I like your players more. Colon is having a resurgence and should get plenty more wins cause he's on the Yankees. League leads the AL in saves. If you take the one bad week he had, he's a top closer. While I think Quentin is worth those 2, I would prefer having Colon and League. Crow and Adams are no factors IMO.

Colon has done well... Doubt he keeps it going.... Quentin if truly healthy is worth this small ransom alone. Do it.

Do it. Those guys will help your ratios and holds. Adams might end up being a closer before the end of the year. LAD need a closer bad.
