Possible Pujols Trade Need your Help!!

I have a chance at Pujols. My question is which 1st basemen would you send via trade Howard or Gaby Sanchez? H2H points league. There are no minuses for K's on hitters.

Howard would get the deal done. Proven guy and is gonna put up huge numbers like he always does.

Look at it from his point of view. If you were giving up Pujols and were going to replace him, which would you choose? Howard or Sanchez. I love Sanchez but it's only his 2nd year in the league and he plays in a hitters park.

Who are you packaging in this deal.

Either Howard or Sanchez and Peralta and Sizemore for Pujols and someone(not sure of this player yet). I could also stick Castro instead of Peralta. Not sure which one of them I want to keep.

It's going to take Howard with who you are looking to package.... And I'm not sure that gets it done, maybe a week ago, but the Pujols managers that stuck with him were waiting it out, and he has woke up. Now, those managers are going to once again look at him as the No 1 player in fantasy.

You can offer Sanchez with that package, but like I said, I don't even think packaging Howard with those other players gets it done. You have to remember that the other team is going to need to drop two other players for this deal to happen.

I guess you could try your offer with Sanchez and a couple of your bench guys but why? I know some people think it never hurts to offer ANY deal but I think you risk Pujols owners slamming the door and never considering any of your future offers seriously. I'd never consider offering that package (even if it were Howard) for a guy who for all intents and purposes is the #1 player in the game. Maybe he's desperate for pitching and would buy high on Haren? If so packaging Haren and Howard won't be an embarrassing 1st offer. You could also try Beltre and howard. Doubt either deal gets accepted but at least he'll know you want to trade seriously.

Both Pujols and Howard have been dealt several times in our league this year. It's a 12T roto keeper so I'm not sure the valuations translate to your league or not? I'll include transaction dates as player value perceptions evolve as seasons progress.

APR 22 - Pujols for Josh Johnson Kendry Delmon and K-Rod (refer to date, JJ was healthy and Morales looked to be on road to return)
May 4 - Pujols Beltran and Asdrubal for Hanley Lind Adam Jones
May 5 - Pujols Fred Sanchez and Mike Adams for CarGo Shields Prado
May 27 - Pujols Longoria Felix and Stubbs for Miggy Cargo Haren McGhee and Raijai

Howard deals:
APR 5 - Howard Infante and Bumgarner for Cruz Rollins and Contreras
APR 8 - Howard Kendrick and Bell for Kinsler McCann Ike Davis and Dom Brown (special keep rules for rooks)
APR 21 - Howard and jaime Garcia for Josh Johnson and Kendy (see date reference above)

Unfortunately they weren't ever in the same trade and infact none of the Pujols trading even started until the assets from Howard's final deal was part of the package that convinced Albert's first owner to move him. I see this as a good sign for your chances.
