Time to Drop Aaron Crow? WHIR

It sounds like Soriano will regain his closer's job imminently. Is it safe to drop Crow now? Maybe for Willingham or Venters? Though we don't count holds...

What are some of your other options? Is Mark Melancon still available?

Nit many options.... I have ne roster move left for this week so my thinking was to use it by dropping Crow and grabbing Willingham to fill out my lineup for tomorrow, then maybe drop him for Venters or Collmenter this week. Ultimately I will need to clear a roster spot for Wandy on June 13 anyway. Thoughts?

Hmm...

I actually like dropping Martin and moving Avila into your catcher's slot.

Then taking Willingham and moving him into your UT slot.

It would be a shame for you to lose out on Willingham.

Lowrie and Desmond are both possibilities, and I don't know if I'd pull the trigger on dropping Crow just yet until things are more clear/for sure. Definitely don't drop a catcher - if anything I'd try to deal one of them or something; if nothing else you have that position backed up, which is no so bad in that deep of a league with a decent-sized bench. Venters would be rosterable as probably a better longterm option than Crow, but I'd rather have both for now and then drop one later when things in KC are more clear. Willingham is having a nice year, but he's not a starter for you and is still probably just above replacement level in your format.

Hope this helps ;-D
