Offered Lincecum/Cuddyer for M Young/Shields - WHIR, LL

I was made the above offer. It seems pretty fair.

I thought I might be able to use either Lincecum or Felix to get another bat if I make this deal.

You have a bit of a suspect OF group so I agree with you. Take the deal since you can move Prado to 2b and try to get yourself a big OF bat.

Don't really see how this makes your team better. If you're looking to upgrade your OF, you need a way better option then Cuddyer, and there is no upgrade in moving Prado to second over Young.

Thanks for your help on mine. Cuddy is borderline ownable in a 12 team league ... pass. If you can get the other guy to give you a real OF instead of his trash, then it might be reasonable.

With Prado's versatility, I would probably make this deal. You would be getting the best player in the trade by far and Shields may just be a mirage. However, I think you should also try to package away some of your bench players/pitchers for an upgrade in either the OF or 2nd Base.

I like the idea of moving Shields and I like lincy. But I'd aim for someone other than cuddyer.
