Offered Granderson for my Kershaw

Postby rasto21585 » Sun Jun 05, 2011 3:27 am

So I just got offered curtis granderson for my clayton kershaw. I am very reluctant to deal kershaw for granderson. Since this is a 20 team h2h dynasty league, i am very wary that granderson would hit like over the next couple of years. Do you think I should make a counteroffer? If so, both our teams are below.

You don't need pitching dude. I would try to get one of his hitters. Your infield is Jose Reyes and thats it.

I think you misunderstood me. I am the one that would be trading away kershaw.

If you do this trade, you're left with only 2 SP you can count on most every week (Lince, Lester). The others are questionable every time they pitch. I'd try to get more quality bats (doesn't need to be a top, top bat, but 2-3 bats that would allow you to rid yourself of guys like Encarcion and Theriot. If you're going to trade away one of your ace pitchers, make sure you add quality, and hopefully more than one, to your offense.

Granderson has certainly been hot so far this year, but his track record doesn't really support his staying that way long term. You'd be giving up an ace that will be there for years to come.

I wouldn't take this offer.

Doubt he goes for it, but that's a good counter.

You need to get a promising pitcher back too IMO. I think I'd try to get him to package Beachy with Grandy or pass on this. Make it 2-2 where you trade someone you can afford to lose.

Can't think of a good counter but there's no way I'm dealing Kershaw for Granderson in a dynasty league!
