Trade Advice Please WHIR

So, I am at the point where I am considering becoming a seller in my 5x5 std roto keeper league.

Should I trade Zimmerman for Matt Joyce and Mike Moustakas? Joyce doesn't really pique my interest for a potential keeper, though I could be persuaded.

Should I ask for more? He also has: Jed Lawrie, Michael Morse, and Brandon Belt.

Any and all thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. are appreciated and if you leave your link I will gladly help in return.

If this is Ryan Zimmerman you'd be giving up, I say no way. I wouldn't trade a proven masher at 3B, for a 3B prospect that hasn't seen an MLB pitch yet. Even though Zim is hurt, if you've held onto him this long, reward yourself for the long wait and give him a couple more weeks. He will be back very soon. While Joyce is having a great year, I think you can get a better return on Zim once he comes back and produces like we're used to.

If keeper is what u want, I'd rather carry Zimmerman into next year. He should be back soon, so even if u want to deal him I'd let him play a few games and raise his stock so u can get better return. I wouldn't deal him for those guys.

Yeah agreed, hold onto Zim... much better keeper than any of the other names u threw out.

Zimm is overrated. 1 good season shouldn't warrant this much respect. He missed 2 months last year and already missed 2 months this year. That being said you can prolly get more for him. Who else does he have aside from Mous and Joyce and the other 3 you mentioned?

I'm not sure how many people are in your league but I would never keep Zimmerman with that high of a price tag. 1st round

Joyce would be the better option of the two, but I would try and see if you could maybe get someone else to bite.

Given the price to keep the players, I can see how this deal works in your favor.

You may lose Zimm for this year, but you can get a better pick in the first round than Zimmerman next year anyway. Joyce should have a decent year and MM will be an interesting story.

Given Zimmerman's injury history so far, and his potential to not be himself once he is back, I actually like the trade. The keeper values are just fantastic, especially if Joyce continues to play well.

I could suggest you go after someone better than MM, but the trade wouldn't be likely to go through after that. You could also try another manager, but that's another story.
