It's a 12-team H2H mixed league. Perhaps most importantly, here are our categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, SLG. As you can see, batting average isn't in there, so, in my eyes, Ichiro's not as valuable as most player rankings out there list him. Having said all that, would you do this deal?

I have a need at SS (currently Theriot) and he needs steals. I have lots of steals in Stubbs and Victorino, along with a few other guys that have five or so each. Should I do this? Please post your links so I can help in return. Thanks!
Yeah I would defiantly do this trade especially with the slump ichiro is in right now. You don't need steals and batting average isn't a category, so deal him now because only thing else you get from him is hits.
Now I probably would not do that. Ichiro will come around sooner rather then later, and there is no telling if Stephen Drew can keep up his numbers. Ichiro is pretty much a guarenteed .300+ average guy.
Asdrubal is a much better choice in this trade then Stephen Drew.
Sure, I agree. I guess I didn't clarify. The guy is stonewalling me a bit now on Asdrubal, so, I was thinking about trying for a less expensive guy like Drew. I wasn't sure if a straight-up Ichiro/Drew deal was a good one or not. So, you guys say go for it if it's Cabrera but hold pat if it's Drew? I appreciate the advice.

Yeah go for it if its ichiro for asdrubal straight up, hold off if he will only give Stephen Drew. What's your roster like though? Do you have anyone you can throw in to make him want to accept the Ichiro for Asdrubal deal?
