I'm not wild about losing Hanson, but this is intriguing. Bruce can be kept thru 2012, Votto thru 2013. Id play Votto at one my my 3 utility. Take one of these or Pass?
Deal A: I give: Jay Bruce and Tommy Hanson I get: Joey Votto
Deal B: I give: Jay Bruce, Tommy Hanson and Brett Lawrie I get: Joey Votto, Trevor Cahill and Eric Hosmer

Option A - Terrible trade! Not even worth considering.
Option B - Bit of a coin flip. Votto is slightly better than Bruce for the short time being, I'd give Hansen the edge on Cahill, and way to early to say how Lawrie will turn out. If you've got a chance to win this year, than take the trade. If not, then don't.

I think you take trade B, and not look back. You already have 3 stud starting pitchers, and losing Hanson may not be that big of a loss with Cahill. Adding Votto and Hosmer will make up anything that you lose with Bruce...
When Ike Davis comes back, you then have a valuable trade sorce to improve you OF position again. Hosmer is already proving he is/will be a stud. Cahill isn't quite on the level of Hudson, but it's not a HUGE dropdown. And Votto is => to Bruce.
