Hosmer for Kemp?

I would like to obtain Kemp from a friend that is hurting in his 1B category I know that he will want more than just Hosmer but how much is too much?

Hosmer was just brought up the the MLB a month ago and has a lot of proving to do. Your going to have to give up A LOT more than just Hosmer to get Kemp.

Obviously Hosmer for Kemp is an absolute steal... and impossible. I'd think you'd have to give up a top guy or two to even have a shot. Perhaps a top pitcher like FHer, in addition to Hosmer. If the other guy is set at SP, this isn't going to be enough.

Hard to really help without knowing other team and format...that being said, looking at your roster Grienke/Hosmer might get it done

Looking at your team, I would demand Crawford in any trade that included Kemp. Hosmer + Crawford sounds like just a hair too much to offer for Kemp, but it might be worth it since Hosmer's value is mostly in his position... He'll never start at first on your team, and his stats will probably be matched by several underrated outfielders that can just as easily be plugged into utility.
