I need to make space on my roster, so I am thinking about offering this trade to a guy in my league. Do you think this is a fair/equivalent trade?

I think you get the much better side. If I was him I wouldn't even consider it though.

Crawford is still a bonafide stud even with his slow start. You're going to have to give up more for him.

classic buy low offer...try it but be prepared to be rejected with a statement.

The reason why I've proposed this trade is because my league is filled with about 2 or 3 players that have taken all the closers, while this kid had 3, but now only 2 because he owns Soria. When you look at Werth, he's had a very slow season so far just like Crawford. Even so, his batting average is still higher, he has more HRs, RBIs, and has even stolen a few bases.

I think that is an offensive offer. Werth can't even shine Crawford's shoes. Crow is a new closer on a mediocre team and his job is uncertain.

Its a good buy low offer but like everyone said here expect it to get rejected you will probably have to give up more than that to get Crawford since it looks like he is starting to get it going

As good a Werth has been over the last few years there's a reason Crawford is a top 10 talent. To me you'd have to give up a bona fide closer with Werth before it gets considered.
