Keeper League Trade - Berkman & Oswalt for King Felix

I could basically slide Oswalt into King Felix's spot and plug Berkman in at IF


Felix will be over $40 to keep....Berkman will likely be a cheap keeper.

I think you can get much better players than and aging Berkman and Oswalt for Felix. I wouldn't take this trade if it were me. Yeah I can see your point with how much it may cost to keep Felix, but he's worth a lot more than those two guys.

Although I am a Berkman owner and would like to see him keep it up for the whole year I don't think this a good deal for you. Oswalt scares me with his ailments. Stand pat is my opinion.

Not a chance. Look at Berkman's May, that's the best you can get each month from here on in, and that's if he doesn't get injured. Oswalt also is good, but old, and injuries have already gotten him a bit too, don't be surprised if it happens again. Felix is super-elite, probably the no. 2 behind Halladay. No way you make this deal.

i know felix is exspensive but his best days in 2011 are in the future and hes been above average not amazing but above average

If you want to move Felix to get better players for next year, go young not old. Oswalt is undecided on retiring and Berkman might not have much left after a year in the OF. You should be able to get a couple 20somethings below 2012 auction price for Felix from a contender wanting to win now.
