My Bruce for his McCutchen and Hosmer WHIR

I like this deal for you. Bruce has been on fire, but I think McCutchen + Hosmer can equal his HR total. Hosmer through 2013 will be huge. He has a ton of upside and looks very comfortable at the plate. I'd take this deal.

Not bad if you kept everyone.

Getting Hosmer and keeping him will force you to push out someone else who has a more proven track record.
Your 6 now could be made up of Bruce, Hanley, CarGo, Fielder, Halladay, Lincecum, Hernandez, and I wouldn't keep Hosmer over any of these guys.

I went back and forth with this, but I think you stand pat. Unless you are going to have to dump any of the guys berrymyers listed, it makes more sense to keep who you have. Hosmer has looked good so far, but hard for me to keep a guy like McCutchen over some of those players you have. Which may what the other guy is hoping for, I trade two of my guys knowing you are probably only going to keep one of them. The next year, he grabs up McCutchen, and only lost Hosmer out of the deal....just some outside the box thinking there....I think I'd hold out.

Help with trade please

I'd do the trade. Whatever you lose going from Bruce to Cutch you more than make up by slotting Hosmer over any of those 3 guys you've got in Util slots.
