I don't know, he might still be upset about the whole Garnett thing.

Kuroda will be riding the pine today after his two duds in a row and on the road against a strong lineup in a hitter's park. Starting Nolasco/Nicasio/Cain in different leagues though...

One scout recently predicted that Florida Marlins OF Mike Stanton will hit 600 home runs in his career. "He's the only guy. But it's not just me. Ask any manager or coach in the big leagues and say, 'Pick one guy who could hit 600 home runs.' They'll all say Mike Stanton. He's amazing," the scout said.

Nine of the 30 teams are in violation of the MLB debt service rules, according to information presented in a confidential briefing at the owners' meetings last month and confirmed by three people familiar with the presentation. The Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals are the teams out of compliance. Commissioner Bud Selig declined to comment for this story. His predecessor, Fay Vincent, said he would consider the number of teams in violation of the sport's debt rules to be "troublesome."
