Pujols trade... WHIR 100%

Postby billycent » Thu Jun 02, 2011 11:45 pm

I didn't think I'd ever deal him... but is this a trade I should pull the trigger on? I give Pujols and Dunn (good riddance) for Ryan Howard and Martin Prado. Prado would offer me incredible flexibility at ci, mi (untill Uggs gets going), and 3rd if Aramis struggles or gets hurt and I love Howard. What does anyone think? Leave a link and I got u back.

This is an absolute no-go!
Pujols should command much more in a trade and if Dunn turns it around(?) you could lose the two best players in the deal. I could see you dealing Dunn for Prado if you are incredibly sick of him, but I would shop him around and ask for more. I would not even trade Pujols for both Prado and Howard by himself!

yeah I'd absolutely not do this if Dunn turns it around you lose big time in this deal and Pujols should be able to get you a bigger return than this.

Werd!

Howard's best years are long behind him. Get yourself one of the other big 5 (Votto, Miggy, Gonzo, Tex) if you need to deal Poohole.

Why are you even considering this....... Of course he is still after you for it.......... Because it's a total win in the deal for him!

My prerequsite for a deal involving Pujols is other managers 1st rounder and another position you are weak in. Seems like you need a 3B. If he has Longoria then i'd counter with Longoria/Howard for Pujols/Dunn. That may be asking for a lot but that's the price tag for Phat Albert.

Yeah, I agree this is a bad move for you. If you are going to move Pujols you need to get two quality players. Longoria/Votto or Longoria/Howard. It's a lot to ask for, but Pujols is that good.
