The trade is Adam Dunn for Brian Wilson and Zach Britton.
The League is keeper- 5x5 roto - 10 teams / catagories - R/HR/RBI/S/OBP & WHIP/ERA/QS/SO/S.
Our league is very split on who got the most out of this deal so I'm coming to the cafe to see what you think! Please give your opinion on who won the deal and hopefully WHY? Thanks very appreciated I'll check out your posts in return!
I know I'm supposed to list my team but I'm most interested in the deal alone.
Brian Wilson is a great addition in the trade, especially if you need saves. But I would think you should be able to get a little more promising pitcher then Britton. Anyway you can list his team so maybe I can give you a better suggestion?
If it fills a need for you, I don't see an issue here. It all really depends on how Dunn's season plays out. If it's bad to moderate, you'll be seen to have the advantage. If it's a great turnaround, you'll be seen to be the loser.
So, that said, you get a great closer in Wilson and a potentially very valuable pitcher in Britton. If it fills a need, go for it. If you're going on value, then it's iffy.

I agree. Its a fair trade considering the year Dunn has had thus far. I say go for it.
it depends you get a top closer out of it I'm not crazy about Britton's last 3 starts considering Dunn's start I think its a fair deal and you made out well in the trade considering its usually hard to land a top closer like that to begin with
I have Dunn and in my league I couldn't trade him for a stick of gum right now... and I'm not confident that a great turnaround is in the cards. Wilson is a great closer but I'm not high on Britton, if it was a little better starter I'd say yes for sure... but given Dunn's trade value right now I might take it anyway. Again, it all depends on your needs though.
Dunn's value is low right now, so naturally you will not get a "fair" price on him ("Fair" in the sense of his value before this awful season). I think Britton and Wilson is a solid return in terms of his value right now, but not if he returns to the Dunn of old. I don't think that will happen this season, so I think Britton and Wilson is a good haul for him.
na you have waited this long for dunn you had to use a decent pick on him to land him he was preranked to lead the league in homeruns you gotta sink or win with this guy
now if your other players are miguel cab and nelson cruz is in your out field and your not short on power at all and your reliever is johnathan broxton and your second best pitcher is ted lilly then yes the deal makes sense (kinda)
