I was thinking of offering either Bucholz or Matusz for Castro straight up. How do either of those sound?

Or I was thinking maybe something like Bucholz/Matusz/Peavy (pick one) and Teheran 4 Castro and Volquez??
I think volquez will be alright, his K rate is bananas and after the 1st inning he is great...

What are your thoughts?? Leave a link and I'll help in return.

I think you go with that offer in bold, let him choose the pitcher he likes the most, he may choose a guy that you'd rather give up anyway.

Help with trade please

Will he even deal Castro for Bucholz or Matuz? If I had Castro in a 20T dynasty it would take a ton to pry him away from me. I realize he's on the bench right now but is he even old enough to buy a drink yet? Maybe barely? and as said he's already a top 5 SS. If he balks at the trade as I suspect he might then I wouldn't hesitate to include Teheran with Matuz or Bucholz in a 2-1 if needed.

i would agree if you can get him to do it for matuz i dont care if in 4 years he turns into a top 20 pitcher you take that risk

keep buchholtz just because the team hes on he will win alot and has shown he is/can be good

starlin is ranked like 3 in espn at ss since the guy has tulo who cares

mastuz peavy for starlin maybe that deal that deal you dont take any hits really and def upgrade

Thanks for your help on mine.

If he does bite, Matusz for Castro sounds like a fantastic deal for you.

I wouldn't give up Bucholz for Castro if I can get away with Matusz. Even if Matusz turns gold, he doesn't have the team to help him shine on the W column. His ERA could also suffer because of O's defence. Bucholz is on a massive offensive team that could bail him out on his troubled days. I'm in a points league, so that's a big deal breaker to me when trading for a pitcher who's on a losing team.
