Someone has offered me Sergio Santos for Phil Hughes. My pitching could use some help one day, but I'm willing to part with Hughes, especially since we only get 2 DL spots and I currently have 4 players on the DL. But my question is, is Sergio really going to be a closer all year? Anyone have any thoughts on if Sergio is worth owning? Is he an improvement over Crow, who's my current 3rd RP. He's also got Storen ... should I ask for him instead? WHIR,LL

Yes, try Storen first, if not accept Santos. The bottom line is Phil Hughes is garbage this year and Santos is a direct stat upgrade. It's less important in H2H but still better than a dead arm.
If you can get either of those RP for Hughes, then you have won big time. Hughes looked really bad earlier in the year and I would let someone else worry about him. Right now Santos is probably ahead of Crow because he has had success so far this year but if you look at just stuff, then i think they both are very solid closers and wouldn't want to lose either of them.

Thanks for the help. I ended up doing it (for Santos) since it frees up a DL spot for Liriano, and I need ratio help bad. Santos has been really good this year, only giving up runs in 1 game so far and striking out >10/9 with <1 WHIP and <2 ERA. The wSOX are also playing much better now, so he should get more save chances. 9 saves for only being the (unofficial) closer for a portion of the year is pretty good. I'll hold on to Crow too, and see where that goes. If one of the 4 go south, maybe Lidge will get the closer job one day. Also, after the trade I still have 1 roster spot open, so I'm looking around for a player to add (could be offense or pitching). Or I could drop Lidge altogether and add 2 more players to the team.
My current roster after the trade League: 12 teams, Daily H2H, 6x6, Keeper (3 players) No innings limits Roster Size: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL
