is berkman no longer a sell high? WHIR if i can

Postby lupus yonderboy » Thu Jun 02, 2011 1:59 am

seriously, i want to drop him outright for, i don't know..Corey Patterson or Andrés Torres, hell Isringhausen could well end up as the closer once the mets trade off krod and i could use the holds in the meantime.the team i have is in a real tentative first place (6x6 h2h keeper(5)) and i'm like 1 game ahead, so whadda y'all think? .

Leave a link and i'll HiR, if i'm confident in doing so.

I'm sure the other owners in your league would appreciate you dropping him outright. The time to really sell high on Berkman was a few weeks ago, but even if you missed the boat, you could still get a decent return for him.

He just blasted a homer tonight so maybe it's a sign of him waking up. But yeah, this is more like a penultimate moment to that of several weeks ago.

Berk is unlikely to be a top-20 player from here on out ... but that doesn't mean he can't be a top-100 player. Top-100 players are worth owning!

Not much you can do there except hold on to him. If he blasts HRs in two games back to back or something, you may want to offer him up then and hope the buyer hasn't been paying much attention.
