Dynasty League - All Minors Trade

Postby MaudDib » Thu Jun 02, 2011 12:15 am

I have a deal on the table where I send my Moustakas and Pomeranz for Shelby Miller. This is a 12 team deep league with deep minor leagues. I also have Longoria at 3B, so I should be fine there for a number of years. I also have a ton of 1B depth that I can trade to get upgrades later on. But the guy wants Moustakas and I want Miller.

Thoughts?

...and as always WHIR.

Just wondering why you have to add Pomeranz, since Miller/Mous are ranked close.
I prefer Miller, because i think Mous is a bit overrated.

Because that is what the guy wants. I am not sold on Moustakas either and kind of want to sell him while his value is still decent. I figure once he gets called up his value is likely to go down. I like Miller a lot but the wild card is Pomeranz. Not sure how good this kid can be.

I agree that Mous is overrated and if you have Longoria then get rid of him while you can cash in.

I think you may be giving up just a bit much here but with prospects there are always questions. Pomeranz is def holding it down this year, but so is Shelby.

I read that Shelby is considered a future ace SP while Pom isn't quite on that level (perhaps yet).

That is kind of what I was wondering. I have heard lots of people rave about Shelby but I have heard very little about Pomeranz. Both are pitching well but it sounds like Shelby has top notch stuff.
