Trade Teixera in Keeper League?

In 5 x 5 head to head league with only 20 waiver moves throughout season (used 5 already). Also its a keeper league (allowed to keep 5 players, but it is dependent on original draft position, etc....so in other words, I cannot necessarily keep my best 5).

Currently in 1st place, and not only want to win this year, but also want to be set for the future. I have a gret situation where I picked up Hosmer off waivers and if I wanted to, could move Teixera for a keeper OF. Then Hosmer would be one of my 5 keepers.

Do I hold steady as is, or gamble in moving Teixera for an OF, hope Hosmer becomes a stud of the future, and go into next year with the following 5 keepers....

About to dump Bay in order to get Sean Rodriguez who has numerous position eligibility to me my bench player or I can grab Gardner, Melkey, Michael Morse, or Coco Crisp.

Well, it all depends on what potential keeper outfielder you'd be receiving in return. If it doesn't hurt your team too much this season and still allows you to compete in the future, I'd say go for it.

what can you get for texeira - I'd grab Morse in a heartbeat also, regardless of this deal
