Jed Lowrie at 3B? Own McGehee with Zimm on DL. WHIR

When Zimm went on the DL I traded Boesch/Lilly for McGehee but so far McGehee has not helped me. Lowrie (BOS) is available and he seems to have decent numbers. What are your thoughts picking him up and starting him until Zimm comes back/McGehee heats up? WHIR - Thanks.

lowrie won't hurt you, mostly has doubles power so don't expect a lot of hr or any speed but he will maintain .300 for the season in a nasty boston line up.

I'd keep McGehee and hope he picks it up as the weather gets warmer. He should still be able to put up solid numbers batting behind Braun and Prince.

Thanks all. I do not plan to drop McGehee, but I want to bench him for the time being. Zimm is at least 2 weeks out, so I thought Lowrie is a nice replacement.
