Gio would be a great add.
Depending on how you rank your closers I may be inclined to offer the worst one first along with the brittle Beltran and move up from there.
Check mine?

This is a pretty nice trade for you.
Gio is a solid pitcher and Beltran, while solid, is expendable. Walden is good, but is poised for another meltdown.

Yes I would do this trade. I look at it as a Beltran for Gio straight up, since Walden is replaceable. Beltran, along with the entire NYM lineup, is just too unpredictable and brittle. Gio is a solid young pitcher

Take it. I've never been a huge fan of Walden, as he tends to blow up on occassion. You're basically clearing up some roster space and getting rid of a couple people that aren't helping your team all that much (especially with Beltran on the bench) and getting a solid pitcher. You'll also get to take a gamble on some waiver sleeper (always fun if you it's not something essential to your lineup) for your free spot.
Take a look at mine, if you could:

Gio is one of the underrated pitchers in the game. I would do it and get rid of soon to be injured Beltran and shaky Walden.
