I've been looking to trade for a pitcher since the beginning of the season and i feel like this is my best oppurtunity to. When i drafted i didn't know it was a pitcher's league(10 person, a quality start with a win is usually around 20's and stellar performances are 30+). Here is the trade, and next is my lineup ***SEND*** SP-Jonathan Sanchez SF OF - Melky Cabrera KC(I've heard he will soon slow down, thoughts?) SP-Matt Garza CHC
***RECEIVE*** SP-CC Sabathia NYY OF- Dernard Span MIN
Here is the rest of my team: C-Jonathan Lucroy 1B- Adrian Gonzales 2B-Dustin Pedroia 3b-Michael Young SS-Troy Tulowitzki 1B/3B-Billy Butler 2B/SS - Darwin Barney OF-Nelson Cruz OF-Grady Sizemore OF-Johnny Damon OF-Michael Brantley UTIL-Melky Cabrera UTIL-Coco Crisp
Take it...Melky will definitely slow down, and Sabathia is a huge upgrade no matter how u look at it. Span is a nice addition - nothing HUGE but will help make up for the loss of Melky. Seems like a pretty good trade to me. Good luck!
