Pretend this was you only you are better looking

12 team H2H
Currently 5th place
Max of 100 transactions - currently at 34
My SPs - Lilly, Carpenter, McClellan, Cain, Chacin, Marcum, Britton, James McDonald, Travis Wood
DL - Hughes - Matusz coming off DL tonite so I need to drop somebody
Edinson Volquez - sitting on him waiting to see what crawls out of his cocoon

Sitting on waivers: Guthrie, Danks

Any of my lesser pitchers worth dropping for Guthrie or Danks?

Could also drop Jed Lowrie from my bench leaving Dunn as solo bench
or
Melancon as RP as his contributions will be slight

A: Who would you drop to free up Matusz?
B: Who would you drop to pick up Guthrie or Danks

Yes I would drop James McDonald for Guthrie, and I would not touch Danks right now. He had an awful spring training and it has spilled over into the regular season, he could be sent down if he doesnt do better his next start.

And if I had to drop someone for Matusz I would either drop McClellan or Melancon, depending on if you need ERA or saves more.

Keep Melancon. He has been a solid closer and that isn't something i would just drop. The way closers are, he has some decent value.

I would kick McDonald to the curb and get Matusz off the DL. Leave the pitchers on the WW. I don't think they are worth owning. Maybe spot starting, in which case I would drop McClellan.
