I have Garza and H. Hendrick coming of the DL this week or early next week. I need to drop a couple players or make an upgrade somewhere to make room.
Are any of my pitchers obvious drop candidates out of that list?
I was thinking about CJ. Wilson or Cole Hamels.

You mean you were thinking of adding C. J. Wilson or Cole Hamels? Hamels has been dominant ... I can't believe he's not owned in your league. Hamels over Kuroda is a clear improvement. With Hamels replacing Kuroda, I'd be tempted to drop Garza. If you want to keep him, replace Chacin with Garza. Drop one of RDavis, MIzturis, or BRyan and insert Howie.
I was going to try and set up a trade for CJ Wilson or someone of that calliber. I think all of my pitchers are better than what is in FA but maybe I'm over estimating my roster. It was just a thought.
I was really wondering if anyone was going to suggest dropping Latos. I picked him up early this week and I'm hoping he will turn things around.
Doing a 2-for-1 type deal to improve a pitching slot would be great for you ... however its not easy to pull off. Your best bet is to look around at the rosters in your league and find a team that has a couple weak pitchers. If you can put two of Kuroda, Latos, Chacin, or Garza together for a pitcher that's better than any of those 4, you've improved your team.
Sorry, but I also don't understand what you meant when you referred to CJ and Hamels? Do you mean you're trying to trade for them?
If you can trade for Hamels, do it now.
If you need to drop a pitcher I'd drop Latos. As much as he can turn it around I feel Padres are just the wrong fit as a team. You're in a points league where wins and loss makes quite a bit of a difference.
Latos will get losses and no decisions in games he has quality starts in. That's a big problem in a points league to me.
