Hanley Dynasty Trade part II...WHIR always

What do you think about this trade? Dynasty league, no contracts or years or max kept. I would be going for the championship with this trade.

I give Hanley, Brett Anderson and Mike Trout

I get Prince, Justin Upton and Jordan Walden

All three of the players I would be getting would be big upgrades over current players and I would move Castro to SS.

Yeah, I think this trade makes sense. Hanley is great in a dynasty, but Castro is coming into his own, Fielder is no slouch at 1st, Upton is getting better all the time, and Walden has displayed he can do the closer job this yr. I like Trout and Anderson, but I would get rid of Anderson in a dynasty league in a second, he is always on the verge of getting hurt and really doesnt invoke much trust. Trout will be great one day, but better than Prince over the next few yrs, I dont think so, especially not this yr. I say go with it, makes sense if it helps you out for the championship this yr.

Without seeing your lineup and going on a value standpoint, I think you did pretty well here. Justin Upton could be a long term keeper. Prince is great. Heck, even Walden isn't terrible. I think that trade solidifies you very well without killing your long term potential.

Well- I'll be the third person to answer.

Without seeing the rest of your roster, or knowing H2H etc, I say this is a pretty good deal for you. I'd take it and run. You're going for the title this year with it, but you aren't exactly hurting in the future either. I like Anderson a lot, but this is a deal I would do. I'd love to see your roster, though.

The trade would work for you. Lose a bit of value in the medium term (productive SS > productive 1B) but will help you this year. Hanley is too big of a question to rest your championship on.
