I do not like this trade at all. You would be the one giving up the best player in baseball.

I like it. I see you upgrading in 3 spots, while only downgrading @ 3B a weak position to begin with. You may even be able to flip someone for a 3B later on and still have a better team. I would do it.

I really don't see the point of this trade........ Are you bored with your team? I think a better strategy would be to take one of your bench players like Berkman or Hunter and upgrade your pitching.

I take this trade, if you think there are managers who would actively trade in your league. Yes, you are giving up the *currently* best player in baseball, but you're getting too much in return to pass it up.
Problem is, this trade doesn't necessarily make your everyday starting line-up better. You take a HUGE hit at 3B, in exchange for getting a very serious upgrade at OF and 1B. You'll have to swing another trade, maybe giving up some OF/1B for a good 3B and a stud SP to supplement a somewhat weak staff (your bats are great, even for a 10 team league).
But overall, you are getting more value, by a pretty decent margin too.
