give- Eric Hosmer, Jeremy Hellickson. get- Jay Bruce.
I'm looking to add another impact bat. Hosmer himself can impact, but I'm also full at 1B/CI/UT with Teixeira/Gonzalez/Hosmer. is Hosmer/Hellickson good to get Bruce? too much? too little?
EDIT: thanks for the help. he doesn't want to give up Bruce. not that surprised. I took a shot at what I wanted and would still like to trade Hosmer for an OF with similar if not better production. this is also a redraft league.

I think you're going to have to give up more in order to get Bruce, especially at the rate he's producing right now. He's a top 5 fantasy player and you are hardly giving up anything.
Hosmer and Hellickson are very good prospects but they are just that, prospects. Unproven. Will they be good? Most likely. But as of right now that's a blind statement.
C - Pierzynski 1b - Dunn 2b - Cano 3b - Beltre SS - Rotating OF - Bruce, De Aza, Cespedes Util - Encarnacion BN - Asdrubal, Adam Jones, Freddie Freeman
If you can swing it, I'd take Bruce in a heartbeat.
It would take a lot more to get Jay Bruce from me right now. The guy is flat out raking and you are trying to buy him when his value is probably at its highest.
I may be a minority here, but I don't like this trade for you. Even though Bruce has been producing, he really hasn't been consistent over the years. Also, you'd be giving up a major part of your pitching staff.

Over the years..... he's only 24! If you can get this done you take it! I will always trade a pitcher for a bat. I don't think you will get Bruce for what you are offering though.
I have to admit I'm a little surprised. I thought Hosmer/Hellickson was more than Bruce, but was willing to do it to get Bruce. Bruce is raking, but it's not like Hosmer is chopped liver. Hosmer has a lot of potential himself could produce right in line with Bruce the rest of the season, and then Hellickson is one hell of a throw in to make it happen. I also see Hellickson the back end of my rotation, and as it is have only used him for 4 starts. I'm not worried about losing Hellickson.
Bruce was predicted by many bball experts to breakout this year after hitting over .300 during the 2nd half last year, and while he is very-very streaky, it seems he has finally figured it all out. just be ready to ride the hot & cool waves

However, you're upgrading your OF, and Heyward is expendable.
I would do it.
