Weaver & Stubbs for Cargo - WHIR

Postby blmurs » Mon May 30, 2011 8:19 am

Someone offered me Weaver & Stubbs for Cargo. (14 team points league, redraft). My OF is deep, and I could use the pitching. But Weaver has been slumping a bit, and Cargo heating up. I'm considering the deal, though. Any opinions? WHIR, as always, roster attached.

Cargo has been a beast in May and June on can be even better. The other owner is trying to buy off some early season struggles from Cargo and some early season heroics by Weaver/Stubbs. Would you have done this at the beginning of the season? No. Has everyone performed about as expected, or just a little higher(Weaver) or a little less(Cargo). Are the trends that each of these players is going to end up with about what we all expected? Yes. So if you wouldn't have done it before the season, for these 3, nothing has changed in my mind, and thus I wouldn't take the deal. You could use an upgrade at pitching, but don't lose your 1st or 2nd best hitter to do it unless you get Halladay.
