Anyone else notice the AL Central title flaw?

is the AL Central caption....ive lived in KC, and outside Minnesota, it might get colder than ANY other NL Central city. we had -50 windchill days.

i know its a weird thing to mention, but it bugs me for some reason.

Kansas City certainly has its share of bad spells during the winter, but on average it stays a little warmer than all the other cities in the division. Much moreso than Minneapolis which pretty much destroys the every other city in baseball in terms of cold weather winters. I agree that the description would have been better without making KC sound like a desert paradise, but we get used to always seeming to be the city people try and make into an outlier.

Yeah, but the point is Kansas City very much knows what freezing cold temperatures are like, which makes the caption incorrect.

Its also located farther away from a major body of water than any other AL central city, a factor that helps to regulate winter temperatures. I would agree that KC probably is warmer on average than those cities, but would put its average winter temperature up against any of those places besides minneapolis.
