My money says go to the youngster, but Erstad's been around and he's ranked higher than T, but his #'s aren't stupendous...
Any opinions?
Thanks.

Which rankings have erstad higher? Maybe you're looking at his 2002 #'s, but even those weren't anything special. Take Tex

Btw, Erstad isn't even in the Cafe's top 250, while Tex is #62

Erstad drove in 17 runs in 258 AB last year. Injured or not, thats absolutely pitiful. To have much value he has to run a lot. With all the problems he's had with his hammy I'm not so sure he can do that anymore, and I'm even less sure the Angels will let him try with their revamped lineup.

Erstad is probably ranked ahead in the Yahoo rankings or something. The yahoo rankings are so bad I wouldn't doubt it.
