HanRam - CarGo Trade **WHIR**

Postby RyeWhiskey » Sun May 29, 2011 4:20 pm

Big trade, here's the specs:
10 team, H2H, 21 player keeper league. Lots of cats:
R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS
W, CG, SV, H, HR, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP

I won the league last year and am first thus far this season. The trade is:

HIS: Hanley Ramirez, Clayton Kershaw
MY: Carlos Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler

My squad
C - Wieters
1B - Berkman / Helton
2B - Kinsler
3B - Prado
SS - Alexei / Drew
IF - Helton / Drew
OF - Kemp
OF - CarGo
OF - Holliday
Util - Werth
Util - Rasmus
B - Lowrie
DL - Heyward
DL - Morales

So you can see that I'm overloaded in OF (Kemp, CarGo, Holliday, Werth, Rasmus, Heyward), I can't even start them all (only 5 spots, util included). This deal would give me 3 SS, but I'm gonna move Alexei soon.

My SPs are:
Felix, B Anderson, Hellickson, Flyod, Tomlin
NOTE: I only carry 3-5 SPs at a time, all other starting pitcher spots go to RPs (check the stat cats, it's a good strategy).

Thanks!
Leave a link and I'll get back to you for sure, probably within 24 hrs.

I'd make this deal. As you already stated, your outfield is stacked so losing CarGo doesn't hurt you all that much. Getting Kershaw will be huge for your staff.

Love the deal for you. Kershaw is an ace and of the two stud hitters you are getting the much scarcer position value. Thanks for the help on mine.

I like that trade. I think soon Hanley will cost much more again. It's a trade that upgrade your SS position and Pitcher position without giving up much at OF since you are so deep there. Excellent opportunity to upgrade your team by dealing where you have plenty.

I agree...take the deal because of Kershaw. Your OF is solid anyway, and you're getting a stud SP in return.

Which SP? viewtopic.php?t=431976
