Gallardo is a perennially slow starter, but usually gets it rolling around this time of year.. he's pitched 5 straight really good games. 'bout time he gets a bit of talk around here..

Right now I'd be looking at (well for me, I like high K rate guys as my roto leagues have small inning cap):

1) Kershaw
2) Shields
3) Halladay
4)Anibal Sanchez
5) Tim Lincecum

I'll look hard a bit later, though do like Haren, Yovanni, and a few others right now.

If I could go back in time, I'd definetly have targeted:

Anibal (went in the 22nd round in at least one of my leagues)
Pineda (23rd round)
Shields (18th round)
Kennedy (16th round)
Garza (15th round)

Have to look at other leagues, but amazed at the value that was available late in the draft in that league, granted most weren't thought to be this good either.

I apologize, but what the hell is this list? Shields above Halladay? Anibal Sanchez ahead of Lincecum? I don't get it....

Yep, easy call there, lots of safer SP1 options out there and Pineda can get shut down for September anyway.

Yeah Anibal has been pitching very good his last couple of outings but he should not be in the top 10.

Thread name: Top 10 RIGHT NOW

Right now I would want Shields over Halladay, as I said high K rate guys are my priority as my league has a low inning cap (thus need to pile up all the Ks I can), and Shields should nab at least 8 or so based on current numbers, Halladay would probably end up 2nd as his K rate is in the 7ish range (about the same as Kershaw) though right now Halladay is about 2-3 ER a game too.

Anibal has been hitting at least 8 a game (mostly) in May and isn't killing ERA/WHIP RIGHT NOW. Lincecum has been all over the place in strikeouts right now.

this is really horrible. the thread is not top 10 pitchers over their last 5 starts. that would not be an opinion. that would be a list with fact. the question is who do you want for immediate upcoming games.

ugh.. i don't have the patience to go on, i quit.
