Should I trade lincecum?
Wondering if I should trade Lincecum Chipper Jones and Mcgehee for A Rod and Justin turner. This is my roster right now before the trade. I'm in last place in my division right now. It is a 12 team H2H league with 6 cats hitting: R HR RBI SB OPS AVG Pitching: QS ERA K WHIP W SV. Roster wise We have 5 OF spots and 2 utility spots plus one spot for each IF position.

Brian McCann
Eric Hosmer
Kelly Johnson/Dan Uggla
Jimmy Rollins
McGehee/Chipper
Josh Hamilton
Colby Rasmus
Johnny Damon
Carlos Beltran
Rajai Davis
Austin Jackson
Jose Tabata
DL Travis Hafner
BE Brett Wallace

Pitching

We have 7 SP and 2 RP slots

Lincecum
Oswalt
Randy Wolf
Clay Buchholz
Ryan Dempster
Derek Lowe
Charlie Morton
Josh Tomlin
Jokim Soria
Jon Axford
DL Johan Santana

I have been doing great with pitching but getting slaughtered on offense I win SBs but that's it. I was wondering if you guys think A Rods production will be worth trading Lincecum and if not who would you guys trade Lincecum for I need a HR RBI guy. J Marquis B Chen B Penny E Jackson C Narveson and E Volquez are all free agents I could add if I make the trade.

No way.

Considering A-Rod's age, I rank Lincicum above A-rod. And your pitching isn't nearly deep enough to consider trading away Lincicum anyway. That would cripple your pitching.

Nope, this would be a pretty poor deal for you.

Ok so do you guys have any suggestions as to how to improve my offensive production? Uggla is killing me right now. I need some power HR and RBIs. If that was you're roster how would you improve in those category's? Trumbo and Espinosa are free agents and so is the slumping Swisher.

As the others have said, the answer is not by imploding your pitching. When a player like Uggla does as poorly as he has, the only option you have is to wait for a hot steak, since apparently there are not good options on waivers. Don't touch any of those other players... You can pray that someone else sees a major upside to Uggla and try to trade him but I doubt you'll get the top 50 value you invested back... Sometimes there is no right answer, sometimes you just have to hope for luck... Not what you wanted to hear, but dismantling your team is an even worse solution.

Your pitching can't take that big of a hit. I seriously doubt Uggla will stay this bad all year. You also have Johnson at 2B and he is starting to finally heat up. It would be nice to upgrade at 3B, but not at that cost. Maybe you can look at a team that needs some speed and do a 2/1 trade to get a lower tier OF power guy. You are getting Hamilton healthy back, so that will help you too.

If that is the offer, you should go back to the drawing board. You deserve more and better. Good luck!

Ok I'm going to hold on to him and see if I can maybe package one of my SB guys with someone for a lower level power bat. Thanks for the suggestions I really appreciate it boys!
