Trade Domonic Brown or Michael Brantley? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Sat May 28, 2011 2:05 am

I'm making a trade for Alex Avila and can't decide whether to give him Michaek Brantley or Domonic Brown. I don't plan on keeping either, so which ne should I trade away: Brown or Brantley?

I'm a bit concerned that Brantley is batting .077 this week and Brown seemsnto be figuring it out these last 3 games. Any other thoughts?

I think Brown has more potential for a bigger 2nd half (doesn't mean it happens though.)

Fierro is right though, Brantley has at least produced this year already whereas Brown still has questions about him cause of inexperience.

I'll go with that--giving up Brown--but it's a tough decision. I think you win either way, so, if you were going to keep Brown, then I'd be OK with giving up Brantley.

I love Domonic Brown, and I think he has a huge upside. I just think he is a year or two away.
I would keep Michael Brantley.

Is Brantley going to continue to produce? Can't tell if his hot streak earlier was the real deal or a fluke.

Really hard to tell. A lot of Indian players are playing way above their career norms. Take Asdrubal for example.

But with Sizemore back, will Brantley still get playing time? If both got equal playing time, I might chose to keep Brantley over Brown, but both are good players and its a tough, tough decision
