He's been called up to take Phil Coke's spot in the rotation while he spends some time on the DL. Worth an add for those 2 or 3 starts? His first start tomorrow would be against that downright HOT BoSox lineup

possibly worth a pickup since i think if he pitches decent he'll take Cokes job so they can put him back in the pen (although the trade for Purcey gave them another lefty in the pen)

i sure as hell wouldnt start him tomorrow though

He got a quality start going 6 IP and allowing three earned. Only 3 Ks.

He struggled early, literally had no movement on his slider. Leaned on his fastball changeup combo. In his last two innings he suddenly had his slider and looked pretty sharp. I was pretty impressed how composed he was after getting beat up early against a lineup thats been red hot.
