Quick Catcher Pickup Help (WHIR)

Postby rjforlife » Fri May 27, 2011 1:48 pm

Standard 5X5 H2H keeper, weekly changes. Just did a trade losing Martin. Have to pick up a catcher. Available:

Napoli
Montero
Hernandez
Olivo
Buck
Suzuki
Ramos
Barajas
Doumit
Pierz
Posada

Who do I pick up? Napoli is on waivers so I could get him but it would be next week, so I would need one of the others at least for this week.

Post your link I'll be on for the next hour or so to respond.

I would say pickup montero because he has been solid all year and way more consistent than any other option available

I really like Montero ... that team is a bit feast or fmaine, but he produces as well or better than most catchers out there.

If youre talking Miguel Montero, its a no brainer, pick him up. If its Jesus Monetero, I think I go Napoli.

Help on mine?

Very surprised Montero would even be available... he's easily the best option there.

The consensus has ruled here. Montero is a nice young catcher in a good hitters park. He has been a consistent batter all year. He had a long home run drought over the past month until yesterday, but he's been getting his share of doubles. For the weak catching position, he'll get you by.

Montero was recently dropped. Its a deep 10 teamer but we only start 1 catcher so that's the one position easily found, part of the reason I dealt Martin. I picked up Montero, thanks for the help and I'll try to get a look at your links. ;-D
