Is it worth it to trade for Mauer or should I stay away from him because of the type of injuries that he is dealing with?

Depends what you can get in return. I too have been holding on to him because you have to think the market is poor.

Just FYI, to me it seems kind of underhanded... maybe that's the wrong word. Uncool? Uncool. Seems kind of uncool to start a tread, get a lively discussion going, and then start ANOTHER thread asking the same question.

You already have a bunch of replies and opinions. If you can't make a choice on your own at this point, you need to work on your decision making skills.

This tread isn't about my trade that I am thinking about doing that is involving Mauer it is more of how will Mauer be in the future to come, especially with the injuries that he has been dealing with.

If it's a general thread about Mauer and what if any effect his injury will have on his long-term value, there's already a thread about that in Injuries and Player Updates, as well as one in Leftovers. That's where individual discussions of players go, not DTKW.

In your first post you ask, "is it worth it to trade for Mauer?" That's a personal, specific question for you based on your league settings/current roster. That's also the exact same question you pose in the thread you link to, except in that one it's implicit and not explicit. People who give you opinions on the trade are ALREADY giving you opinions on Mauer.

If you want to talk about Mauer in the abstract, non-specific to your team way, take it to Leftovers. Otherwise, you have your answers about your trade. Move on.

Good... but it would be better if you ended it with "Lawyered!!"
