Is this overpaying for cargo?

Postby rasto21585 » Fri May 27, 2011 11:14 am

In my 20 h2h dynasty league we get to keep our whole team from year to year. Anyway i was offered cargo and gallardo for my Lester rasmus and russell Martin. Is that too much for me to give or is it a bargain? Team is below 20 team h2h dynasty league

For H2H, I basically see this as Cargo for Martin and Rasmus. As good as Lester is, pitching is easy to find in H2H, even in a 20-teamer (in two leagues I'm in, the minimum IP is so low that I don't even roster any SP). That you're getting a decent SP back in Gallardo, I think makes this deal even easier to accept. I'd do it. Cargo is starting to turn it around, so I wonder why his owner is just now giving up on him. Oh well.

Yeah, I'd do it. Don't agree with the above poster about pitching.... in a 20 team league, even as plentiful as pitching is you're going to struggle to put together a decent staff, so an ace is a big deal. However Lester to Gallardo is not that big a drop. So I'd do it - you're getting a really young, really talented OF for a worse OF and a catcher that you don't particularly need. Do it.

I would do this in a heart-beat. It's maybe not that pitching is easy to come across, its just a lot easier to come across than hitting. Also, I know what you mean about not rostering a SP. I have friends that roster all RPs and they can still stay competitive with wins, let alone the rest of the categories..... which is a reason to switch to QS, but I will quit digressing.
