In this country, we fight for what’s right. We challenge conventions that have been around forever. Woman weren’t able to vote; they now out-vote men. Black people couldn’t play Major League Baseball, and now they’re among the most celebrated and talented players in the games great history. Black people weren’t allowed to vote; a black man is now President. Gays weren’t allowed in the military; gays now fight for our freedom. Gays weren’t allowed to marry; well, we’re still working on that one.

LOL WUT

Yeah, that's ridiculous and kinf of offensive. Comparing MLB's reluctance to change a minor rule to the Civil Rights Movement is asburd, and to be honest, kind of offensive. The journalist who wrote that is a tool.

Let's see what starts I have that will almost assuredly end poorly :-C

Colby Lewis vs KC -- Lewis has looked like the 2010 playoff version his last five starts; if damage is done, please let it be Commissioner Gordon who does it.
Roy Oswalt @ NYM -- This is a win/win for me unless somehow Oswalt gets blown up and the Mets still lose. Somehow this is exactly what I imagine will happen. :-C

Notes:
- Kelly Johnson... yes. #winning
- Nick Markakis riding an 11 game hit streak... hating him less day by day.
- I traded Buster Posey in the off-season for Roy Oswalt in a bracketed keeper H2H Points League... I feel a lot better about it now.

I can't recover from the outings from Scherzer, Bailey, and Balfour..

3 of them combined for 14 earned runs in 7 innings. :-P

Are you me? That tragic trio was brutal. At least I'm not alone.

I would be starting Colby today as well if I still had him, but I could definitely see KC getting to him. Would really be nice to see Hosmer get some hits todady. He has been cooling off and I'm hoping it doesn't start to become standard fare.

I'm probably mildly reluctantly starting Michael Pineda today. If it were @NYY, he'd be on the bench for sure, but in Safeco, I'm leaning towards starting him, still pondering though.
