Got offered a trade and looking for some outside input on it
I Give-1B Prince Fielder and SP Jhoulys Chacin
I Get-OF Drew Stubbs and SP Tim Lincecum
My team
C-Matt Wieters
1B-Prince Fielder
2B-Robinson Cano
3B-Jed Lowrie (also 2B/SS eligible)
SS-Erick Aybar
OF-Lance Berkman (also 1B eligible)
OF-Michael Bourne
OF-Michael Brantley
UTIL-Alex Rios
Bench-Mark Reynolds
DL-Ike Davis
DL-Vernon Wells
SP-Clayton Kershaw
SP-Cliff Lee
RP-Aaron Crow
RP-Kenley Jansen
P-Shaun Marcum
P-Jhoulys Chacin
P-Daniel Hudson
BN-Jake Peavy
BN-Kyle McClellan
BN-Josh Collmenter
If I made it I would move Berkman to first until Davis is back to make room for Stubbs. I feel like I could use the help in the SB department with Stubbs and I wouldn't lose too much power. Let me know what you think and leave a link and I'll help you the best I can

Your pitching is pretty nice as is, how badly do you want to add another elite ace. If you want to upgrade an already good staff I say do it, Berkman holds down 1B nicely for you and stubbs still provides you with everything plus some. Its definitely an interesting deal

Your OF could definitely use Stubbs. I don't see Chacin on your roster?

Sorry I must have looked over him while typing up my roster. He actually took down the trade last night, but re-offered me Stubbs, Lincecum, and Dempster for Fielder, Chacin and Daniel Hudson.
I know Dempster hasn't had the best season, but I think he's turned it around since his early season struggles so I still think this one has potential. Let me know what you think about the new offer

I thought the deal was pretty even before. I never like trading an elite bat for pitching (even elite pitching), however getting Stubbs in return didn't seem like such a huge drop off in offense and a nice upgrade in pitching. However, I'd be a bit leery to accept the Dempster/Hudson addition.
Don't fall into the trap of wanting a deal so badly that you give into their terms. Remember your value in Fielder!
